Most of us, when we think of acne, think of teenagers and young adults, but this view is incorrect because it also includes adults and adults of various age ranges. You can get acne as a toddler (albeit that is rare) and on up into one's 40s, 50s or even 60s. When most of us think of acne we think of teenagers and their juvenile hormone changes their bodies undergo and the effects this has on the increased production of sebum and oil on their skins which does provide a prime breeding ground for acne causing bacteria. But it should also be noted that many adults do also suffer from the same skin affliction.
Acne if left untreated can many times results in permanent acne scarring and pitting of the face, upper arms, shoulders and even back (all depending upon which areas are affected). Picking at, squeezing or popping acne postules is definitely not recommended as that is known to cause damage to the skin in can easily lead to permanent scars and even pockmarks.
As to the cause of adult acne sometimes it is caused by hormones but it can also be caused by food allergies, external sources (like milk), stress, etc. a big cause that researchers have found as of recently in causing acne manifestations in adults is genetically altered foods like milk. Most people don't realize that the milk you drink from the store if its not organic comes from bioengineered cattle. These cows have been injected with all sorts of hormones and drugs to make them produce much more milk than they normally would. It's only common sense that these extra hormones and drugs would leach over into the cows milk.
Do you want clean, clear and younger looking, acne free skin?
This also happens in cows and other animals that are being bioengineered and altered to produce more meat, less fat, grow quicker, etc. All of this bioengineering comes with a price. That price is the altered hormones, genes and drugs that come along with your glass of milk. Researchers have recently proven the link between genetically altered cows and milk that can cause acne. If you do have adults acne may be the best form of skin care or acne treatment would be instead of taking additional drugs or anything else, to just caught out the bioengineered milk you drink. Try it, go organic for period of a month and see what that does for your skin.
When I was a young adult I had adult onset acne and it got pretty severe. What I didn't know then, initially, was the factor that milk from genetically altered cows played in how severe my acne was. That doesn't mean that all the acne that I had was caused by this milk, but a good portion of it can be traced right back to it. A doctor and family friend of ours that was heavily into natural and non-drug treatments told me to stop using regular milk and other products as much as possible and to use as much organic milk and groceries as possible.
I thought at first that he was a little far out there. I mean he was so afraid of the sun's rays and getting skin cancer that he completely avoid the sun and was so white that he looked like a vampire or an undertaker. But you know what? I have to hand it to him. He was absolutely correct. As I switched to the organic diet my skin and acne started to clear right up. The excess oil that was on my face, shoulders and arms went away. Before too long I was just about acne free except for the occasional pimple, zit or blackhead that just about happens to anybody.
Use the same exact chemical peels that dermatologists use on acne and acne scars - the TCA peel from Bestskinpeel.com!
Apparently, the excess hormones from the milk was causing my body to produce more oils and create a perfect breeding ground for this acne causing bacteria. There was no need for strong medicines like Accutane. All that was needed was to switch to organic foods. The only thing I did beyond that was some chemical peels which helped my skin exfoliate, move the acne bacteria along, kill the acne at the source, etc...
But by switching to organic foods I also found it not only cleared up my acne, but made me feel better, think more clearly, and even perform better on tests in college. My concentration was far better and so was my ability to understand foreign concepts. Now it is important to understand this may not work for everybody and that this was just my sole observations and nothing more. But when you equip this with the leading researchers from schools like Harvard, Stanford, Yale and Johns Hopkins University, it will make you think twice before you ridicule organic foods in the future.
So, organic foods may actually be the best or one of the best adult acne skin care treatments out there. And it's probably a lot cheaper than all the suppose it acne products out there that, for the most part (except for skin peels like the TCA peel and laser treatments), don't even work.
