We've all by now seen some of these TV reality shows like The Biggest Loser and You Are What You Eat (the wildly popular BBC show). Why are the shows so popular? Because we as a nation have a serious eating problem. Generally we eat too much food and we tend to eat food that is not very nutritious. We have the supersize me mentality and we tend to eat too much greasy, artery clogging foods like hamburgers, fries, shakes and soda. We eat out too often at fast food restaurants like McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's were their main moneymaking foods are those that are the worst for you.

The Whopper from BK, the big Mac from McDonald's and Wendy's double and triple stacked burgers along with the salty and greasy french fries and the super-sized coke, soda or shake is a nutritional nightmare. It will be interesting to watch how the Chinese diet and health will drop now that McDonald's is planning on opening thousands of stores throughout China.
